Welcome to the CARE Group

The CARE Group is a friendly and welcoming group for people with learning disabilities who are affected by cancer, alongside their family members, carers, support workers and health and care professionals.

The group brings people together to share experiences, ask questions and talk about cancer care in a safe and supportive environment. You can come along to meet other people, listen and learn, share your own experiences, or simply have a chat.

The group is also an opportunity to help make cancer services better. By sharing what works well, what could be improved and what matters to people, members of the group can help shape more accessible and inclusive cancer care across Lincolnshire.

Everyone’s experience is different, and there is no pressure to talk or share. Come along, meet others and be part of making cancer care better, together.
