Lincolnshire Secondary Breast Cancer Support Group Launched

The Lincolnshire Secondary Breast Cancer Support group launched on Wednesday 15th June in a fantastic event in Woodhall Spa. Guests were treated to tea, cake and introduced to the facilitator Linda Clark. United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust staff were in attendance to chat as well as a talk from guest speaker Catherine Priestley from Breast Cancer Now.

Tracy Conner then led the group through a mindfulness session and all guests went away with a goody bag filled with some treats.

The group will run monthly, in alternate locations of Boston and Lincoln. Anyone with secondary breast cancer is welcome to attend, for relaxed social sessions.

This group has been supported by Make 2nds Count, St. Barnabas, ULHT and the Macmillan Living with Cancer Team.
